The American Defense Center is the foreign policy and defense
program of the Civic Council, a national nonprofit educational
and advocacy organization. The Center conducts independent
research vital to the military, intelligence, political, economic
and sovereign interests of the United States and disseminates
this information to policymakers, the media and the American
people with the goal of improving our national security.
We encourage all citizens to be informed about our countrys
security interests as well as where our elected officials
stand, and to communicate with them regularly on these issues.
To increase public awareness and participation in the policy
making process, we monitor legislation, publish reports, carry
out national petition drives and direct mail campaigns.
As an independent program, the American Defense Center relies
on private contributions from many individual donors across
the country to fund its work. Because it is part of a 501(c)(4)
organization that lobbies on behalf of its supporters, federal
income tax deductions are not allowed for gifts to the Center.
An executive director, appointed by the Civic Councils
board of directors, administers the Centers operations
and manages its projects.
For more information or offers of support for its projects,
